When you only know misery, even abuse can feel like a show of love. Just ask Ashleigh Loveless, a recent hire at Wesin & Sons, Co. The nihilistic worldview of her childhood babysitter imprinted right onto Ashleigh's young brain, & the babysitter herself left an imprint right on Ashleigh's neck: A cigarette burn.  Now in her 20s, Ashleigh finds herself again near Brianna Wesin, & is eager to live out her girlhood dream of being Wesin's personal ash tray. But when Wesin has a personal request for Ashleigh to spy on a co-worker, she begins to develop another perspective. Is it really possible for someone to learn to love & trust after a lifetime spent defining them both by hate?
